Senior Support Worker

We are currently recruiting a Senior Support Worker to lead the delivery of the ‘Bird on the Wing Graduate Programme’.

The Senior Support Worker will manage the Programme alongside and with support from imagine if’s Community Director. They will be responsible for a range of tasks, ranging from 1-1 support for people with convictions, running weekly drop-in sessions, creating action plans, follow-ups, programme administration and organising cultural events for service users. They are to lead on the provision of a holistic support programme for prison leavers. The support has two strands: enabling access to artistic opportunities and assisting with problem-solving practical issues. Intended outcomes for beneficiaries include improved self-esteem, communication and employability skills with the overall aim to support them to stay crime-free.

  • Closing Date: 5pm Wednesday 9th September 2020
  • Fee: £6,000 (£125 per day for x2 days p/week)
  • Contract: 24-week freelance contract

New Chair and Board members

As part of our continued growth, Imagine If are seeking a new chair for our board and new trustees. The new Trustees will support the Chair and the rest of the team in achieving our aims.

The 3 core objectives of Imagine If for the next 3 years are:-

  1. To produce and showcase two new pieces of original theatre to the public.
  2. To secure core funding for our Central Admin function so we can continue our work from a solid base and
  3. Further Develop and deliver our flagship Workshop ‘Bird on the Wing’ and have it rolled out into prisons across the UK.

Volunteers

We are currently seeking enthusiastic volunteers to support our core team at our office in Leeds. We are looking for individuals with experience of working in an office environment to support us with the variety of artistic projects we have on for a minimum of one day per week for 3-12 months.
